PhilosophyThe winemaking philosophy at Blackgum Estate is straight forward, the aim is to produce the purest and highest quality table wines by choosing the best fruit at vintage and using good viticultural management and practices.
Once the grapes reach the winery on the Estate, we use the least amount of chemicals and preservatives and intervene as little as possible in the natural winemaking process, so as not to disturb the wine's natural harmony.
The wines are made in small quantities so as to preserve the characteristics and quality to which Blackgum Estate aspires. The wines portray a deep ruby colour, sensational mouth feel, body, balanced acids and soft medium tannins.
The wines are individual and pure.
